For this week’s shoot we accidentally drove to a secluded neighborhood with beautiful mansions: brick and stone homes, perfectly kept rose gardens and quiet as a mouse. Homes that I only see in movies and never imagined existed just around the corner from where I work and live! One of the homes had a massive garage (safe to say, pretty much the size of my entire apartment!) with about 10 classic cars parked inside and outside….as Mani would say, ‘Eyval!’ …anyway, this brings us to THIS week’s City Talk…is $ the driving force to your success? Are you passionate about anything? WHO do you want to be in life? Remember, WHO and WHAT are surprisingly different. I’d love to be a billionaire, but even if I was, it won’t be WHO I am as a person…but WHO I am might be the cause to the effect….
I want to be a published author. A respected journalist. A wife. A mother. A humanitarian. A good person. Happy. Healthy. And always experiencing new things–Never allowing it to get dull! ….I am more than half of those things already, I have the rest of my life to become the rest. xoxo, Ladan

I want to find an simple way without any politics and religion, to bring every one close together in peace and caring for and to each other.

Hi, ladan jan, merci , I do really enjogy your shows, alots of recent news.
I really love that I have studied for 6years , Microbiology and Biotechnology, but after 5 years I have done nothings in my case professinally, I wish to have my own research institut.

Hi Ladan jan,
Im a Biomedical Sciences student in London but I want to transfer to Medicen after I graduate to be a Heart surgeon. Also, I write poems and short stories when I’m free and I’m so passionate about both of’em.
Though many people have told me that I should publish my poems and stories, there are two obstructions.
The first one is the censoring that applies to any kind of art by Iran’s government (most of my poems are in Farsi). This is the main problem that writers face in Iran. The changes they want us to apply to our art will change it to something totally different. My second problem is to find a trusted professional translaitor here.

I used to write in 3 different blogs but because of some crazy people and the distractions they caused me I had to delete’em and I just kept this web site but I’m thinking of deleting it too because of the same reason.
