just to clear things up…
1. being an Iranian,
2. speaking in Persian,
3. on an Iranian internet channel,
4. referring to Khalij, off course refers to Khalije Fars or The Persian Gulf…
It just means the GULF and to a true Iranian The GULF is always Persian
The Arabic name for it is “Arabian Gulf” or الخلیج العربي al-khalīj al-ʿarabī)
so relax and use your common sense.

But for me and people like me who lost what our ancestors achieved, it is not easy to lose the remaining of it.
Perhaps your right, if I wasn’t born and grow up in Iran, life would have been easier for me.

Hey Melissa, We all know that you didn’t mean Khalij-e-arabi! But Arabs (or Taziha) call it only khalij because they don’t want to say its Persian (Fars)!

My name is Ali and I’m from Portland, Oregon .Hmm.. I dunno where to start from but after watching all your shows this is my first comment. I like your Mel Talk thing, and I personally enjoying it. Umm… Also, I’m best soccer player in Esfahan-iran. Used to be I played for Sepahan, so I’m kind of famous, and I still play soccer here 2.

What about the category: Khalaafkar of the week? I think it sounds great when you are only saying Khalaafkar ;0)
