Ever since the “Roozmaregi” video was released on YouTube, I’ve been very eager to arrange some sort of interview or meeting with the band members of “Kiosk”. Luckily during their visit to LA, we got the opportunity to meet with the band members before and after their concert at the Skirball Center.

These guys are awesome, that’s what I’ve been talking about. This new wave of music which is coming out of Iran is really alive, fresh, and authentic. Kiusk, Abjeez, Hypernova, Axiom Of Choice, … and a bunch of other guys known as underground musicians that have grown under extreme pressure of Mollahs’ regime can revive Iranian music in out time.
