  I love your network, especially your new show “This week in the Middle East”. The character Kvon is hilarious and does a wonderful job. I believe this could be a great show, however, the actress Sharian his female anchor almost ruins the show with her over use of her Iranian accent. She is trying way to hard and taking away from the show. If she lightens up the acccent and just plays dumb she’ll be great. However, out of all the shows this is by far one of my new top shows. Just trying to help out and make some suggestions. Especially growing up in an Iranian family. I have passed your site on to all my friends and they overwhelming love this show. But hate the fake and over the top acccent. Need updated news, maybe the current election. “Obama”

  That was hilarious! “Women should be lionesses, not just a pretty painted doll for the men to play with” …hahahahahahahaaaaa! I liked it….and I think Shirin’s accent is perfect and right on the money for her role….this is a comedy/parody sketch you guys….duh!!!!!!!

  Hey no offense or anything the woman is like 50 or 60 years old and she makes herself look really stupid and not to mention slutty. For the love of god, your my mom’s age, learn to behave like a classy woman…

  you can’t do sexy when your 60 years old. You should be ashamed of yourself for being there. I think putting melissa, next to Kvon would be a hot dynamic duo. Except even melissa is too smart enough to know that playing a dumb persian blonde wont suit her character…she has too much integrity for that…

  drop the old lady and keep kvon by himself

  omg some people are so stupid! I think many of the viewrs are missing the point that this show is trying make of the “typical” persian shows that we are used to watching. The woman is supposed to look slutty since ALL of the perian woman on tv are. For example Vida Heravi and Shabkhiz wife. But honestly the first episode was funny and now the show is just annoying!

  I totally agree w/ Asal’s blog (blog #16). This is a parody of Tapesh and that slut Vida. Shirin does a fantastic job of imitating Vida, who, by the way looks like the spawn of Leona Helmsly and Michael Jackson. Except that Michael Jackson’s plastic surgery turned out a lot better….haha

  I agree with Asal #16….very funny video…it is supposed to be a parody of the Persian News Shows and Shirine does an excellent job of portraying the over made-up with too much plastic surgery. For example, Vida, who, by the way looks like a Leona Helmsly and Michael Jackson. I think Michael Jackson’s plastic surgery looks better, though.

  This is hilarious. Shirin does an excellent spoof of typical “fluffy” persian show hosts. Hosts such as Vida Heravi, who looks like Michael Jackson, only with blonde hair.
