He is the son of singer Koroush Yaghmaei and just like his father, he is pursuing a career as a singer. Only his style is different from his fathers. Kaveh Yaghmaei may have started off learning classical music, but he later realized that while his passion was music, it was of a different genre: a mix of rock, house and digital sounds. His musical influences are AC/DC and Deep Purple. Kaveh came all the way from Iran to Canada in order to transfer the music that has always been in his head onto the screen for all to listen to!

Hi guys,
Thanks for this interview. It’s really great. Actually I don’t listen to Rock music but the style of Kaveh Yaghmaei is really good. Most of the time, I listen to his album (Cold Silence). Also the music videos of this album are awesome.

Good to see this interview, cause I never knew about him. It’s facinating to see him show intrest in house music, I’d really like to see more work of his in that department.
However he mentiones House is some how decendant of Rock music which is absoloutly not right. House music actually started by recycling disko records (in chicago) which were more influnced and decended from Jazz. Although I love rock based House track! … peace and thank you again for the interview.
