I always wanted to know what it was like behind the scenes of one of the most successful Iranian radio stations outside Iran. I guess its the only Persian speaking radio which you can listen to, 24hours a day. So I jumped at a chance to spend a few hours to capture the behind the scene action at the station and finding out how it all started. Operation since 1999, KIRN 670AM has played an important role in the Iranian ex pat community in the Los Angeles area. I would like to thank the whole team at 670AM KIRN who made us feel very welcome during the recording of this program.

wow, the only thing I must say about it, is thank you… it was really nice. I saw the behind scenes of Iranian radio station inside iran but was not sth for me… But now it is completely different, I mean how they r trying to grab attentions, how they keep the radio on and so on… Thanks again for this show and thanks to all of 670AM KIRN for their radio. I wish i can get their radio programs from here in Malaysia.

Is there any way that you could provide a footage of Mr. Kalhor and Mr. Holakoui.
I think you missed the most popular radio personalities.

I totally agree. As a matter of fact I have never seen Mr. Kalhor’s picture. can you provide that in your site. I love your footage of radio iran .

please let me know how and when I can listen to Dr Holakuii’s show on the radio, in LA’s time. Also, how often in the week is this show, and if I can’t listen to it live, is it in your archive, and where is it. Thanks.
