Well, the answer is :
123-45-67+89=100
I checked all the possibilities using some hints like:
- we end up with 4 numbers.
- firstly we need to check the sum of their smallest digits(to meet 0(zero) as the smallest digit of the sum) which crosses out a lot of possibilities.
- One of our numbers ends with 9.
I ended up with 29 different chioces and that is apparently the only answer.
