I was going through my emails and came across this article…
In 2005 a beautiful race car driver named Laleh Seddigh became a hero in Iran after beating 12 male rivals and claiming 1st place in the competition! At the time she had been racing for 3 years and was also a PhD student! Fans nicknamed her “Little Schumacher” and her win represented “the new type of independent young women that is emerging from the shadows of Iran’s strict society.” Laleh has been in love with racing ever since she was 13 and has even broke her neck and had platinum implanted in her leg due to her many accidents!
Despite the discrimination that women face in Iran, Laleh’s perseverence to race for her love of the game is an inspiration to young generation Iranians not only in Iran but all over the world! You can visit her site at http://www.lalehseddigh.net/

Hi Ali…thanks for the link! It’s too bad Matt Lauer got her name wrong!!!
By the way, your own site is actually really cool—especially all the pics you have posted of expensive cars in Iran…. interesting! Do you live in Iran?

Salam Ladan joon,
Bah bah, to whom do I owe this pleasure of speaking to the zeeba Ladan. You made my day, for sure.
Thanks for supporting Iran Supercars and I hope that you can spread the word about the site. No, I do not live in Iran, but there are some very loyal fans within Iran that submit pics & ownership info.
